Case Study: AG PAVING HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
GNR Consulting were delighted to support a new development of 68 affordable homes in the North East. Located in Spennymoor, the project specified permeable driveways and 450 mm footpaths across all plots.We worked closely with the nominated groundworker, with whom we have built a trusted relationship over nearly 20 years. Based on the project requirements, we proposed the AG XFLO 200 × 100 mm block paviour in 80mm thickness for driveways, alongside the Crescent textured natural flag in 450 × 450 × 40 mm for footpaths.
These solutions met the house builder's specification while delivering a high-quality finish within budget. They also enabled a fast and efficient supply programme, with full-load deliveries completed within 2–3 working days including free pallets across the entire project. In total, all 68 plots have now been completed, equating to approximately:
• 2,800 m² of driveways
• 1,500 m² of paving flags
Both the developer and groundworker are extremely pleased with the finished result and are already working with GNR Consulting and AG on upcoming projects, including the installation of Vertica retaining walls.
